AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!

While I slept, the news of the death of Osama bin Laden was a cause for celebration for Americans everywhere. This is certainly good news, and I'm trying to not be too cynical. Good news about America is few and far between these days, after all. So I will just forget that this should have happened 10 years ago. I will also forget that I'm afraid that bin Laden was not the true mastermind behind 9/11 (not that I'm a "Loose Change" guy, but was are a lot of suspicious activity at home and abroad just before the attacks). Additionally, I'll induce temporary amnesia upon myself about the astronomical wastes of money and human life that the wars that followed (and still rage on) in Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Libya are. And, most importantly, I'll put it out of my mind that this will do nothing to end terrorism here or anywhere else in the world. No, today, I will revel in that fact that America won. We won something. FUCK YEAH!!!
